Valencia Basket rewrote its history by securing home-court advantage for the first time in a EuroLeague Playoff, defeating Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens 102-84 in a game where they were always ahead and controlled all of their opponent's attempts to get back into the game.

 “The next step is to stay on track, keep working hard. We don't make many distinctions between one competition and another, and Sunday's game, being a triple-header, is a high-risk match because it's tough and there might be a tendency to focus on Europe. So, we're happy today, but we need to concentrate on what's next. We're not taking anything for granted. We have home-court advantage, but we'll face a strong team in the playoffs. We're not getting carried away and we're working with humility.”
